I did it...I joined THE Ultimate Blog Party!!!

Welcome to Feagans 5ive! Look around...

This is my first party and I was a little worried about what shoes to wear since my daily shoe attire consist mostly of crocs! Gotta love those crocs!!

Here is a little about me! I am 25, I have 3 blue eyed, beautiful children! All given to my by the man of my life! DJF! We also have a dog, Belle! You can see photos of each of my children on the right hand column of this little blog!

10 things about our family!

ONE: I am currently training to be an instructor for the best aquatic program out there!!

TWO: I don't like to get out of bed....usually the kids end up in my bed before we all go get breakfast!

THREE: My husband and I have a small obsession for Survivor.

FOUR: I think my youngest child, Lincoln will be a class clown.

FIVE: We love to take vacations!

SIX: My husband was born in Colorado Springs, CO. I was born in Pampa, TX. How did we meet in Steelville, MO? On a float trip, of course!

SEVEN: My youngest baby weighed over 10 lbs.

EIGHT: I NEVER thought I would be a blogger....then I met Rachel.

NINE: I love photography.

TEN: I have the best husband....he supports me in pretty much EVERYTHING I want to do!!

Beans

Today it is a soaring 40* out side....so I sent Parker out to play and get some fresh air!! As he went out the door I started on lunch only to find **Guess Who** right behind me...it was Parker....telling me that he went potty in his pants. So we pulled off the wet pants and I told him to go put them down the hole (our laundry shoot). Time passed and I finally yelled "Come on Parker-Man get your pants on so you can go outside and play!!!" Well out of our room running he came with a mouth full of.....you guess and I will let you know tomorrow!! Here is what I saw...please don't look at the mess coming from his nose...

Nearly One Week Down...

Well, tomorrow will complete my first week of training! It is so exciting and so difficult at the same time. I am so excited to be a part of the finest aquatic survival program....but this training stuff is really emotional. It is AMAZING to see how proud some of these kids are of them selves! They know what they are doing!

On another note....Madison missed her first day of school today. She was up all night last night coughing and throwing up from coughing. Poor thing. I must not have heard her because Daniel got up with her. He took her temperature at 4am and it was 102.7*.

He gave her Tylenol and about 20 minutes later she came in our room and told Daniel that her neck was sweating.

What can I say she takes after her daddy.

This morning when I got up she was still sleeping and continued to do so until 8:00. She pretty much laid down on the couch all morning and ate a little soup for lunch. Madison fell asleep in our bed for a nap and at that point I had to go train and take the boys to swimming. I hope she is feeling better by morning because she has a birthday party to go to.

Lincoln was at the doctor on Tuesday and they gave him some meds for a sinus infection....lets just hope that no one else gets the 24 hour bug that Miss. Madison has!!

In God We (I) Trust

Well, I have been reading a blog that has started Miracle Monday. And although there are many (I can think of 3 to start with) miracles that have happened in my life, there is one really big one going on right now!!!

I have been holding out on the news of me being accepted in to the Infant Swimming Resource Program (ISR). I am very, oh so very excited!!!! I first learned about this program because Lorelai was enrolled in it and I went to see one of her lessons. After that I was in shock about the fact that a child could really save their life if they fell into the water.

So after talking to Daniel and praying about it.....I gave it all to God. Now it is very easy to say that but to actually do it....not so easy. I prayed. I prayed more. And I prayed some more. I didn't worry about it....because I prayed to God and let him know exactly what I wanted to do and told him that it was ALL in his hands....from there (believe it or not) I didn't worry. I seriously didn't worry one second. If this was Ultimate Plan that God has for me well then....He would make it happen and if not I knew that He would have something else "up his sleeve" for me.

I sent in my letter of intent, resume, and the list of questions that I had to answer and waited for the next step. I thought the next step was going to be a series of phone interviews but it was only one. I was very nervous about the interview. But as it turns out....it was more of a lets get to know each other conversation and she threw in several questions along the way :)

I then got the APPROVAL!!!!!

Praises to God!!!!



After that I had to send in my signed agreement and my tuition! I then had to wait for the links for my online training guide....I still remember when I got it....Daniel was at his football game, and the kids were sleeping. When I got it....I cried.....seriously.....tears flowed from my eyes. The feeling I felt was so incredibly awesome. I knew that God was behind me all the way. I will be saving HIS children if they fall into the water. GOD made this possible. I believe it 100%, no questions asked.

I will be starting training tomorrow! Please pray for my mom, as she will be caring for the kids during the training!! Pray for my kids so that they don't drive her crazy!!

NOW: I challenge you....give something 100% to God and DO NOT worry about it....the feeling you will feel is more that you can describe.

Swim Team

Well, tonight was Madison's last lesson with Chuck....she was only in the program for about 1.5 weeks. Today Chuck talked to me about getting her onto a swim team that will work on stroke development with her! She is very excited!!! So I will be contacting the Rec Plex to find out about their swim team!!! How exciting!! We are so very proud of her!! Congratulations Madison!!!

Moment of Inspiration

Back at Christmas time my mom got me my very won sewing machine! Probably because she was tired of me borrowing hers :)

Well, I was on eBay and I bought a Rag Quilt blanket pattern. I love this little pattern....it has got to be the easiest thing to make EVER! The first one I made was for some friends of ours....they are due in April with baby #1! How exciting for them!

And back when Rachel was in town she made Lincoln a taggie blanket! And he loves it! So I thought I would combine the two ideas and make a Raggie Taggie Blanket! Below are some photos of my "Moment of Inspiration"!!!

II Pause

Just an update about training that WAS going to start tomorrow....it has been pushed back to Tuesday, March 4th. I need book work time!!

I will be taking video of the Madison, Parker and Lincoln this week so be looking for their progress.....

Memory Monday

I remember one Easter my mom (above) making this super cool Bunny Cake for Easter. It was of a Bunny face :) It was covered in coconut for "fur" and I remember the wiskers were made out of licorice . I think the eyes were made out of jelly beans or maybe gum drops....it was very cute and probably pretty yummy too!!

Since I was awarded the EXCELLENT award, I have to give it to others...

SO...I am giving mine to Michelle, Kendrick's wife....(you know who you are). She is an excellent mom and if I need to talk I know she is there.....this award also comes with a challenge to her....she will be leaving her part time job in April (I think)...so I am challenging her to

ALSO...Mrs. L gave an award to Rachel but I must back that award....Rachel has talked me through some difficult issues only a friend could help me get through...Thanks Rachel....you are AWESOME!!! and so is Lala and I guess JD too!!!

Friday...YEAH!

So I was given an award from Mrs. L over at My Memory Keepsake....she gave me the Excellent award! Thanks Em! And thanks for fixing my blog problem! Em helped me fix a horrible flashing header on my blog...but as you can see we got it fixed with the wonderful photo that is there now for Valentines Day!

HOME SICK HOME

What an eventful weekend....
Friday: Missy (my neighbor) and I left around 12:00 to go scrapbookin' for the weekend. We got to Carlyle Lake around 2:3o after all of our necessary stops! When we got there we unloaded our stuff and went to cutting, taping, sticking, ohhing and ahhhing over photos that I haden't seen in a long time!! I stayed up ALL night....I think it was around 8:30 am on Saturday that I finally went to bed...but was woken up shortly after by others in our cabin....I WILL BE STAYING IN A HOTEL NEXT YEAR....

So I got up took a shower and went back at it...I was up until about 11:00 that night and then I had to call it quits!

I was tired today but I got a lot done. I made a little 6x6 scrapbook for M. It was of photos of M and Ceazar. She was excited to have them all in a book just for her! I also finished our 2005 family album! Each one of my kids have an ABC album. So I was able to work on Parker's album and get it almost finished....just a few more photos!



When I came home it turns out that D had been sick nearly the whole weekend. I have a feeling it is the flu...the sore throat, cough and fever one.....

I just hope the kids don't get it. M has not missed one day of school so far...and I don't think she wants to miss any...don't worry I will keep her home if she gets sick....I am not a crazy parent like some out there!

And the boys will be starting the Infant Swimming Resource (ISR) program on Tuesday! I am so excited!!

I have been holding out on you guys also....after A LOT of praying I decided to apply to be an instructor for the program. I have submitted my resume, letter of intent and a questionnaire; all which were required for the program. I have an interview tomorrow evening at 6:30 CST. I feel like I have butterflies in my belly and I am so excited about the possibilities that this will provide for our community, my family and ME! FYI: I will be out this weekend...I am scrapbookin ALL weekend. We are leaving today around 12:00 and I will return Sunday just in time for a baby shower and then the SUPERBOWL!!! GO TEAMS....because I don't know who is playing :)

Old Man Winter

P got Eddie for Christmas 2 years ago. Never did I think P would want to "hang out" with Eddie the way he does. They are so cute together....watching movies, digging in the dirt, swinging, or just taking sissy to school! They are two peas in a pod!

BTW: Yes my son is sleeping is a doll house bed....he loves that he can put his cars and trucks in the window part. You can't see the window part but I am sure it has his Thomas the Train flash light, Lightening McQueen car and Mater in there!

Today I was able to get some pretty good photos of P's face since the bite (a week ago tomorrow). He is looking and feeling much better!

As for an update on the family...D will be training the BiG 30 on Wednesday! As of right now I don't think he is making much of a fuss about it...

I have been working on my new sewing machine that I got for Christmas! I have made one "rag" quilt for a baby shower that I have to go to on Sunday! I am going out of town next weekend (by myself) to go scrap booking ALL weekend! I went last year and had a BLAST!

M is busy with school and doing great! She is also in swimming lessons and dance! Watch week is next week so I will try to remember my camera and take some photos!

P is P...what can I say...His school starts in April...we will see how many melt downs he has with this semester!

L is a momma's boy...that is all I have to say about that!!

Ceazar will be going to his new home today! I am very excited about the new family that will be taking him. Like I said before there will be a little girl, a little boy, a mom, a dad and another dog for him to play with! Comet is the other dogs name. We look forward to having many playdates with Ceazar's new family!
