My friend Chris and I saw this quote when we were in Florida at a little coffee shop we went to EVERYDAY....now it needs to come to Chicago and St. Peters!!!

1st Birthday Party!

Sunday night we celebrated L-Train's 1st Birthday. We celebrated with Airplane Grandma (my mom) and Papa, Uncle Bruce and Amanda and Grandma Sandra. The small group was very nice. We had pizza and cake and ice cream! Below are photos from the party!

The ending result of the below photo was NOT good....he threw up all over me and the couch. We were at the the doctor today and it turns out he has a virus and the spots to prove it. Never knew that you got spots with a virus. Our very intelligent pediatrician informed me of that, thanks Dr. Agolia. (I have a story of Dr. Agolia and our visit to post about tomorrow :))

I need to post about my NEW BEAUTIFUL TILE! But first I must say....D I love you and your did a WONDERFUL job on our kitchen floor, I look forward to many days of slaving over our stove while standing on the new tile.....well maybe not that last part, but he did a GrEAt JOb!

Out with the OLD (linoleum)

This photo does NOT do it justice....it was very dirty and gross.

In with the NEW:

(sorry I can't rotate it)

HE IS ONE.....

I can't believe it....it seams like just yesterday I was in the hospital with him and P was pushing around the soiled clothes cart...I know....I should not have let him do that but oh well. So about Lincoln....

When I found out I was pregnant with him the nurse in my doctors office told me. We were not shocked since we were not doing anything to protect against having another ankle biter. It was kind of funny that someone else told me we were pregnant because I told Daniel we were expecting M and D told me we were expecting P. The nurse Regina, was so excited. First and foremost I was worried about postpartum depression. I had that with P and was worried about it again since the boys would be only 17 months apart in age. Thank God none of that happened.

I wanted to make a big deal about telling D about the upcoming birth of our 3 little guy since I didn't get to with the other 2. SO I went to the mall and bought a yellow shirt for M and a red shirt for P. On the back of M's I has screen printed " I want a SISTER!" and on the back of P's I had "I want a BROTHER!" That night I told D I had a surprise for him the next day. The following day I dressed the kids in their shirts and thought it would some how drop hints to D. I tried to put them together in front of him so he would see their backs. Well, P was 8 months old and when nap time came I knew he would NEVER get it....so I started to ask him if he had figured it out. He said NO. I remember we were laying on our bed with M playing around and he asked if it was in this room. I told him YES. More and more hints were given and finally I said "Didn't you read the kids shirts?" He said Yeah and thought nothing else of it. So I turned M around and he asked me where my mom had gotten her shirt. I told him that P had one that said "I want a BROTHER!"

Finally after all of that his light bulb started to flicker.

9 months later we had LJF. He was born the day after we had new carpet installed in our whole house. January 9, 2007 @ 11:29am. He weighed 10lbs. 4oz. and was 20 inches long.

He has been such a blessing to our family. We love him so much and couldn't imagine our lives without him!

We love you Little Man!

New Years in Florida!!

So we are having a BLAST....

We are headed to the beach today but wanted to post some photos...We told the kids we would! Miss you guys! Love, Mommy and Daddy!

NOT Pregnant

So, I got a call today from a friend and she wanted to know what kind of count downs I would be posting about....

OUT!

Merry Christmas :)

Hello, Hello! Sorry I have not updated you guys on Ls Tubes. Everything went very well. He was fussy waking up from being put under but other than that everything was nearly great. I say nearly because on Thursday he started to run a fever. So Dr. Reichert wanted to see him in the office. Dr. Reichert had to drain a lot of fluid from behind his ear before he put in the tube so he thought it could be clogged and infected. However that was not the case and everything looked good. He did however suck some yucky stuff out of his ear and I could barley hold him down. For 11 1/2 (OMGosh he is almost 1 ;( )months old he is really strong. But all in all everything was great.

Here in the Midwest we got 6 inches of snow!! It was a perfect time too, it was the weekend so D was off work and Mwas off school. It was so nice out that we were sitting in the snow eating it and throwing snowballs at the dogs. When I let P eat it I thought he was going to faint....he was so excited! Photos will be posted later when I have patience for slide.com!

For the past 3 years it has been a tradition to wear our PJ's on Christmas day to Ds families house. I must say it is a WONDERFUL tradition. Even better is the first year we stared this we had pizza and sundaes to eat!!! I must say I totally recommend at least trying it for one year and if your family doesn't like it....they are crazy!

There was is a friend in our church who had a baby! And I got to photograph him on Saturday! You can see his photos at http://www.danielpaigephotography.blogspot.com/ I must say he is a total cutie! James is a sweet heart!

We are so excited to have D at home with us this year on Christmas Eve. His company was nice enough to let all the employees have Christmas Eve off! Thanks Bob!! We are going to celebrate Christmas Eve this year by going out to my mom's house early for breakfast and then we are going to make Christmas Cookies!! At 3:00 we are going to stop and open gifts and then let the kids have time to play. When my brother and his girlfriend come over we are going to have dinner. Then we will get changed in to our PJ's and play for a little longer before it is time to pack up and get ready for Santa :) P stared out the Christmas season calling Santa "Christmas" We would show him a picture of Santa and he would say "ohhh, Christmas." Very Cute!! I wish I had it on video like the Poop Porch thing! That was funny!

Well, I must go now! I hope you all have a wonderful CHRISTmas!!!

Parker's Last Day of School

Yesterday morning I got the BEST photo of my boys! P was being all sweet on L and wanted him to hug him. It took a couple of tries but I finally got the BEST one!! Check out below!

Look how loving he is trying to be to his little brother! ;)

Also, Thursday was Ps last day of school. So below are some photos of that!

P's Favorite Tacher, Joe

P's girlfriend, Callie

OK....so Tuesday was the big day to get the approval. Dr. Reichert is old....but that means he has seen A LOT of kids and has A LOT of experience! RIGHT! Well, he was just too cute with the shinny circle thing on his head....like in the photo below! The shinny leather thing was old...it had a leather strap.

So D sat in the chair with L and he checks out his ears. He goes through the drill....asks us questions about P's tubes and tells us we can schedule with the front desk!

One thing he did say was that L, unlike P has large ear canals (see below for a photo of this too). With P we do not have to put anything in his ears when he takes a bath....but since L's ear canals are larger we have to do this...he is fine in the pool water but not in lakes, baths or rivers....like we are going to send our 11 month old floating down a river.

So that is the jist of it. Surgery is at St. John's Surgery Center! We have had all of out surgery's there!!

Also, today is P's last day of school.....yeah!! He made it! I will take some photos of him today....I hope he smiles for the camera.....BTW....the principal of the school's daughter is in the class and she told her mom that P is her best friend! I guess he is nice to someone!!

OUT!

tu3es part to

Just wanted to say that the doc. thinks that L is a great canidate for tubes and we will be getting them on Monday. I will explain more later! Thanks for the prayers!

tu3es

that is right....l has an appointment for tomorrow to find out if he needs tubes. i should have gone with my motherly intuition and just made the appointment but i was hoping for no surgery. we have been through 3 now with p. those include tubes at 5 months, stitches in the tongue at 18 months and re-circumcised at 21 months. what a mess. so pray for tomorrow! i wonder if the nurses at st. johns will remember us.....

Happy Monthday Lincoln!

That is right...Little Man is 11 months old today! Here is a video for your viewing pleasure! :)

What's a "meme?"

Whether you pronounce it "meme" rhyming with "cream" or "meme" as in "memory," it's all the same. In the blogging world, someone posts a list of questions on their site and then tags everyone else to answer those same questions. They are generally not multiple choice and hopefully encourage a little more creativity than a yes-or-no survey.

Sometimes you see a meme on someone else's site and even though you weren't tagged, you decide to post on your blog with the same list of questions. I saw this on someone else's site but I'm not going to mention any names.....RACHEL.

This is a meme with picture answers. The plan is to google (image) your answer and then pick one of the pictures from the first page of results. Here we go....
