Yeah, you know who you are! I coined the term Secret Stalker Readers and it comes from pure love. I use the term in the best way possible. Some of you are friends and family of mine, you just peruse and never leave comments. Some of you are friends I haven't met yet. Hint hint. I have received several comments in the last few weeks from the SSRs and it makes me so happy when I get them. Sometimes I feel like only three people read my blog. Not that I don't appreciate those three reading it, but they are also the ones who know everything about me and probably look at my website and go "ugh - I already knew that - post something you haven't talked about!"Thank you, SSRs for being there with me in the background. Every once in a while, poke your head up and leave a comment. You don't have to leave your name or contact information. If you have a blog, I'd love to add it to my daily reads, but it's not required. Now that you're done reading this entry, go back and read it with the Budweiser commercial music in your head .... The Kiddo's Bathroom....

Here are some more photos of the bathroom. We are getting there. And I oh so wish I had photos of Daniel putting the toilet back on....it was hilarious......we will leave it at that....

Since the kids bathroom is out of order we have been using our bathroom and here are some photos of Lincoln and Parker in the bath tub together....they are so cute and I hope they will be so close when they get older. Lincoln will have to probably put Parker in his place a couple of times and then he will get the point!!

Her First Flight.....

This is Madison and Makayla.

Well we did it....and she did freakin' AWESOME!!!! I was so proud of her. We were getting all set up with her booster seat and she had the biggest smile ever on her face. She brought Makayla with her (that is her American Girl doll that she loves to DEATH) and at one point as we were getting onto the run way she said that Makayla was scared but just a little though. I think that was a way for her to tell us SHE was a little scared. But she did wonderful!!!

After we all went up Papa brought me down and then she wanted to spend the night with Papa and Grandma so away they went.....

Parker's Illness

That is right...Parker has a virus. It all started on Friday. I thought that my mom just gave him too much juice...yeah, that would have been nice because then....he would not have dirty diapers every other hour. Now Monday, it is getting better now we are just trying to keep Madison and Lincoln free from it. All I can say is I have NEVER seen a little bottom so RED in all of my diaper changing years....by the way I am going on 5 years now. I am a PRO :)

On another note....Madison and I are going on her first flight with Papa tonight. I will be bringing my camera...this in one of many to document. I have thought about bringing Parker but not too sure about it yet. I don't know how he will do!! I am still not too sure how Madison is going to do but we will see. Papa is our ticket to see Daniel on Friday for Madison's weekend away before she starts school. We plan to do this with each one of the kiddos!!

So YESTERDAY was Lincoln's 7th monthday.... Sorry I totally forgot about this. So.....

Parker's 2 year old Stats

Parker went to see Dr. Agolia on 8.6.2007. Below are the updated stats of his little growing body!!!

Weight: 28.5 lbs (50%-75%)
Height: 36.5 inches (90%-95%)
Head Circumference: 19.5 inches (50%-75%)

Dr. Agolia is not a very big man at all; he said that Parker will probably be taller than him by age 10-11. Well on his way to being as tall as Uncle Bruce and just as skinny!!

How Could I Forget...

THIS IS KIND OF WEIRD.....



So the other day I was thinking about when Madison started showing signs of toilet training....and I remember one of the signs being that she stayed dry through the night. The reason I am thinking about this is because Parker is now 2 and should start to show those signs any day (or at least that is what I hope). So this morning when I went to get him out of bed I checked to see if his diaper was wet....to my surprise it was not wet so I hurried to get him out of bed and tossed Lincoln on my bed then we found the potty chair (which was moved b/c of the bathroom remodel). When we found it I put it next to the big potty and WE WENT POTTY TOGETHER!!! I made a HUGE deal out of it we called Daddy at work; I think he fell out of his chair.....And then we called Airplane Grandma and then Papa of course and he even had some candy!!! So with that all being TYPED....Please PRAY for us and this new GOAL oh and the carpet too!!!!

From Blue to NEW!!

Yeah that is Daniel doing a great job painting!!!

I helped but I got in trouble for not painting the correct way.....

I married an engineer, I guess that is what I get......

Kind of hard to tell but this will be the new decor for the room!!

That is right if you ever went potty in our blue bathroom it is NO MORE!!! (I think Daniel is VERY happy about it too!!) We (Daniel and I) were up very late last night painting the bathroom! Soon I will have photos of Daniel putting down NEW ceramic flooring!! Madison is NOT happy about the change....she only wanted pink or purple....go figure. Check for more updates as the bathroom goes from blue to NEW!

After tossing her books on the sofa, she decided to grab a snack and get on-line. She logged on under her screen name ByAngel213. She checked her Buddy List and saw GoTo123 was on. She sent him an instant message:

ByAngel213:Hi. I'm glad you are on! I thought someone was following me home today. It was really weird!

GoTo123:LOL You watch too much TV. Why would someone be following you? Don't you live in a safe neighborhood?

ByAngel213:Of course I do. LOL I guess it was my imagination cuz' I didn't see anybody when I looked out.

GoTo123:Unless you gave your name out on-line. You haven't done that have you?

ByAngel213:Of course not. I'm not stupid you know.

GoTo123:Did you have a softball game after school today?

ByAngel213:Yes and we won!!

GoTo123:That's great! Who did you play?

ByAngel213:We played the Hornets. LOL. Their uniforms are so gross! They look like bees.

Meanwhile.......GoTo123 went to the member menu and began to search for her profile. When it came up, he highlighted it and printed it out.

He took out a pen and began to write down what he knew about Angel so far.

Her name: Shannon
Birthday: Jan. 3, 1985
Age: 13
State where she lived: North Carolina
Hobbies: softball, chorus, skating and going to the mall. Besides this information, he knew she lived in Canton because she had just told him. He knew she stayed by herself until 6:30 p.m. every afternoon until her parents came home from work. He knew she played softball on Thursday afternoons on the school team, and the team was named the Canton Cats. Her favorite number 7 was printed on her jersey. He knew she was in the eighth grade at the Canton Junior High School . She had told him all this in the conversations they had on- line. He had enough information to find her now.

Shannon didn't tell her parents about the incident on the way home from the ballpark that day. She didn't want them to make a scene and stop her from walking home from the softball games. Parents were always overreacting and hers were the worst. It made her wish she was not an only child. Maybe if she had brothers and sisters, her parents wouldn't be so overprotective.

By Thursday, Shannon had forgotten about the footsteps following her. Her game was in full swing when suddenly she felt someone staring at her. It was then that the memory came back. She glanced up from her second base position to see a man watching her closely. He was leaning against the fence behind first base and he smiled when she looked at him. He didn't look scary and she quickly dismissed the sudden fear she had felt. After the game, he sat on a bleacher while she talked to the coach. She noticed his smile once again as she walked past him. He nodded and she smiled back. He noticed her name on the back of her shirt. He knew he had found her.

Quietly, he walked a safe distance behind her. It was only a few blocks to Shannon's home, and once he saw where she lived he quickly returned to the park to get his car.Now he had to wait. He decided to get a bite to eat until the time came to go to Shannon's house. He drove to a fast food restaurant and sat there until time to make his move.

Shannon was in her room later that evening when she heard voices in the living room."Shannon, come here," her father called. He sounded upset and she couldn't imagine why. She went into the room to see the man from the ballpark sitting on the sofa. "Sit down," her father began, "this man has just told us a most interesting story about you."Shannon sat back. How could he tell her parents anything? She had never seen him before today!

"Do you know who I am, Shannon ?" the man asked.
"No," Shannon answered.
"I am a police officer and your online friend, GoTo123."
Shannon was stunned. "That's impossible! GoTo is a kid my age! He's 14. And he lives in Michigan !"
The man smiled. "I know I told you all that, but it wasn't true. You see, Shannon , there are people on-line who pretend to be kids; I was one of them. But while others do it to injure kids and hurt them, I belong to a group of parents who do it to protect kids from predators. I came here to find you to teach you how dangerous it is to talk to people on-line. You told me enough about yourself to make it easy for me to find you. You named the school you went to, the name of your ball team and the position you played. The number and name on your jersey just made finding you a breeze."
Shannon was stunned. "You mean you don't live in Michigan ?"
He laughed. "No, I live in Raleigh It made you feel safe to think I was so far away, didn't it?" She nodded."I had a friend whose daughter was like you. Only she wasn't as lucky. The guy found her and murdered her while she was home alone. Kids are taught not to tell anyone when they are alone, yet they do it all the time on-line. The wrong people trick you into giving out information a little here and there on-line.. Before you know it, you have told them enough for them to find you without even realizing you have done it. I hope you've learned a lesson from this and won't do it again. Tell others about this so they will be safe too?"

"It's a promise!"That night Shannon and her Dad and Mom all knelt down together and thanked God for protecting Shannon from what could have been a tragic situation.

Family Update!!!

Just a little Feagans' Family update!!

From the last post....

Lincoln is now getting up on all 4's quite often now!! He looks sooo darn cute but so darn clueless at the same time!! He has also been teething like crazy. Nothing has popped through quite yet but he is chewing on EVERYTHING!! In the photo below please notice the size difference in Parker and Lincoln!!!

Parker did something he has never done before today!!! This morning (being tired got to me, I guess), I took off the front of his crib. He loved climbing up and down and in and out of his "new" bed!! So he is now taking a nap in his bed with out the side. I didn't close the door all the way so I could check on him while he was in there falling asleep for the afternoon and I just happened to be looking in there when Eddie(Parker's Doll) fell on the ground. I thought for sure he would get up and get it but he just rolled over and fell asleep or a nap. Then of course I had to go in there and document this (taking photos) and he woke up....well I knew he was exhausted b/c he was with my mom last night and this time he whimpered and rolled over and fell asleep!!! I don't know...but Daniel is out of town for tonight and maybe the next night so if he ends up in bed with me tonight at least we will not be smashed in there!!! So....YEAH for Parker he is turning into such a big boy!!! Parker will be 2 on the 4th of August along with his birthday buddy Joe Young!!

Madison is going to have her 2nd night of swimming lessons tonight. She really likes them!! She was a little concerned at first. She was asking me and my mom tons of questions about was going to happen. I guess she thought that she was going to be thrown in the water and have to figure it out on her own! But now that she knows she is totally fine and loves it!! The weekend before school starts Daniel, Madison and I will be taking a trip to see Daniel's Job in IL and to hang out one last weekend before school starts just the 3 of us!!! We are going to take the train up there and Daniel will pick us up from the train station!! School starts on the 20th of August. I will be taking her to school and she will be riding the bus home!

Grant's Farm

Yeah we made it to Grant's Farm!! We went with our friends that are in town from NC and on their way to Texas!! We had a great time and the weather was WONDERFUL!!! After we checked out all of the animals we had lunch and then headed home for nap time!! Thanks and "L" for going with us!!! Now you have a little taste of what life is like with 3 children!! Also thanks for coming over for dinner Thursday nite!! We really enjoyed your company!!

But, I didn't have the camera in the room so I didn't get a picture of it soooo as soon as he does it again I will have one. There are others for you to enjoy from this morning!!!!

So there you have it!! I talked to Dr. Agolia about his belly button and the bellybutton hernia is closing up!!!!

I also talked to him about Lincoln throwing up everything orange that he eats and he said not to give him anything orange to eat for about a month!!

YEAH...

FINALLY, after nearly a week of being up in the middle of the night with Lincoln he slept through the night!!

I also wanted to do a 10 things about Lincoln, Parker and Madison!!
Lincoln:

1. he is the baby of the family right now
2. he has one brother and one sister
3. he has been the best baby so far
4. he laughs at almost anything his sister does to him
5. he eats 4 bottles a day
6. he has baby food 2 times a day (that is $6.50/day to feed him)
7. he is a cuddle bug
8. he was put on his first antibiotic Friday for an ear infection
9. he loves to sleep in the swing
10. he is sleeping it it now

Parker:

1. he is "the middle child"
2. he likes to test his mommy and daddy
3. he is still sleeping in his crib and I plan to keep him there for a long time!
4. he is into pulling hair now
5. he loves to watch Bob the Builder and choo choo's
6. he recently went on a choo choo ride while we were in Colorado on vacation visiting Papa Jay
7. he has selective hearing
8. my voice is one that is commonly blocked out
9. he is honestly one of the cutest kids I have ever seen!! I am not saying that b/c I am his mommy either!
10. he has blue eyes

Madison:

1. she is the first born
2. she will be going to school in the fall
3. she loves all of her grandma and pa's
4. she loves to go to church and home team
5. she loves dance
6. she wants to be an animal doctor when she grows up
7. she can be very bossy at times
8. she is very emotional and gets hurt easily
9. she was potty trained at 2 years 2 months and 2 day old
10. she likes to play outside

What a Bummer...

After Airplane Grandma (my mom) had one sleepless night and I had one and then last night Daniel and I getting NO sleep I decided to take Lincoln to see Dr. Agolia today. First Lincoln had a rash that the Doc was not worried about and a goopy eye that he said was probably from clogged tear ducts, again not a big deal at this point but later could cause concern. Moving on to the other parts of his nearly 20 pound body that is right...just shy of 20 pounds!! Oh yeah well he checked his ears and he has an infection in the right one. Doc said we should give him amoxicillin 2x/day for 10 days. So I will hope that Daniel and I get some sleep tonite!

Family Update!

Hey Guys!! Hope all is well out there!! I just wanted to give everyone an update on each of the kiddos and Daniel and I, since we are so exciting!!!

Madison~ Well, this week she is in 2 bible camps!! She goes to one from 9-12:30 then home for lunch and a nap. She wakes up just in time to go to the one that is from 5:30-8:00. She has been so tired this week. She is getting very excited about school starting! She wants to know more about her teacher and what her school is called. She is starting kindergarten... What am I going to do?

Parker~ OMG that boy is saying or at least trying to say EVERYTHING!!! His words now include... cookie, milk, juice, Banna(for Savanna who is our neighbor), tractor, car, truck, bike, hat, bite, Mama for Grandma, gosh I know there are a ton more plus he is saying Oh 2 of the most famous.... Papa, MOW!!! I guess he thinks Papa needs to mow all the time!!! But now he does got to Daddy's mower and say daddy!!! He thinks that every time Madison goes potty that he needs to go also. I think Daniel said the other day that Parker was in the bathroom with him and watched him go potty...well then he went potty on the floor in his room. I guess that is progress? Who knows!! He also tries to say Lincoln, it is so cute!!

Lincoln~ my snuggle bug!!! He is rolling like crazy and really making ground!! Daniel was holding him the other day and he said DADA!!! Along with a ton of other jibberish!! I guess that is progress too! Boys I tell you they are a different breed! We have moved him up to a size 4 diaper. Now he and Parker are wearing the same size?!? If he was not so wide we would not have this problem. When we were on vacation he got used to the travel swing that my mom has ... so now we take the swing back and forth to moms house and our house. I am trying to get him back in OUR swing we DO NOT need anymore PLASTIC in our house that is a baby toy!!

Daniel~ Well he is out of town pretty much every Wednesday nite. Soon however that will pick up to Tuesday - Thursday. It has not been to bad lately. And it is super that my mom takes the kidds once a week for a break!!! He was going to try to get back into baseball but I think our schedule is tooooo hectic of the summer for that.

ME~ Well, other than being a taxi driver and helper for camp, I am just doing the regular. Trying to get to the gym everyday!! So please be praying that I get there and work out!!

On OUR Way . . .

So, I am in the car on my way to Kansas City where we are having a post-wedding shower for Jen Schlotzhauer the newest member of the Pike Wives Club. I ponder quite frequently what our husbands think of this little "thing" we have started. If your husband happens to be a PIKE and he has expressed his opinion about this I would love to hear what he has to say about it!!!

I enjoy these particular girls because I have never had a group of girls I was really close with. Not that we are all best friends but I feel very confident that if we (any of us) ever needed anything we could call each other and we would be there to help if we could. Since some of us have children and others live out of town. But I think it is really AWESOME that we can all get together and hang out and most importantly the biggest issue most women have ~ GET ALONG!!!! I don't feel this closeness with the girls in STL. I mean not all of them. I love the girls in KC!!! GIRLS YOU ROCK!!!!

NO TIME

So today it hit me that we are leaving for vacation in . . .5 days. HOLY COW. I have about a million things to do and only time for about 500,000 things!! We have had a ton of things going on however it is nice that my mom has the two older kiddos so that I can attempt to do things here!! I should have sent her with a couple of loads of laundry to do while the kids are with her!! She is so good she would probably do it for me!! I will be posting photos to www.feagans-family.spaces.live.com while we are gone so feel free to check things out there while we are in Estes Park, Colorado and also Colorado Springs, Colorado!!!

I am so excited that Daniel's cousin will be staying at the house with the dogs so we don't have to run them here there are everywhere!!
